Just a light entry in the midst of busy-ness..
Last December my parents, grandma (our lovely Mrs Pepperpot!), sisters, aunties and uncle (there were eight of them) visited me right here in the land below the wind. Allah has given us the opportunity to witness His magnificient creations.. From the majestic cluster of islands to the gigantic ranges of hills and mountain. Not to forget the beuatiful beaches and vast variety of cheap seafood. I was so grateful for the wonderful moment that we spent together. Alhamdulillah wa syukur lillah.
Before departed for home, my mother left one pot of chili plant and another pot of tomato plant that she bought from Kundasang for me. I said to her that she should bring those plants back home as I can go to Kundasang and buy them for myself anytime. She replied to me that she purposely bought the plants for me to keep and learn how to nurture them.
What a big responsibility! I said to her I can never do that. I have already got two pots of cactus, a gift from an ukht to me for the same reason (to learn how to nurture them. She purposely gave me cactus for a beginner level).
I can never imagine that having to look after these plants (is this considered gardening?) can give me such a momentous experience. It triggers me to ponder upon the greatness of Allah SWT, for He is the Owner and Guardian of all things. To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and on the earth, and all that is between them, and all that is under the soil. (Taha: 7)
I was first not confident to keep the plants due to my high mobility and I was afraid that nobody would water and generally take good care of the plants. I thought that I was the one who should feed, water and grow the plants. Who am I to think that I have the power to do that all by myself?
And with Him are the keys of the Ghaib (all that is hidden), none knows them but he. And He knows whatever there is in the land and in the sea; not a single leaf falls, but He knows it. There is not a grain in the darkness of the earth nor anything fresh or dry, but it is written in a Clear record. (Al-An’am: 59)
Forgive me Ya Allah if I did ever forget you for a second or in any time duration lesser than that. “Our rabb! You have not created all these without purpose, Subhanaka, Give us the salvation from the torment of the Fire..” (Al-Imran:191)
I only pour the fertilizer once, water them once in a few days, and look at what Allah has made them to be…

Masya Allah!
Whosoever is in the heavens and on earth begs of Him everyday He is (engaged) in some affair. Then which of the blessings of your Rabb do you deny? We shall attend to you, O you two classes! (men and jinn) Then which of the blessings of your Rabb do you deny? (Al-Mulk:29-31)
